Level 1 Nosework: This course teaches the dogs to search boxes (boxwork) and find treats/toys.
This introductory class teaches the dog how to play the game. The class begins inside and the dogs are steadily progressed
through more challenging adventures including working outside. Elevation is also introduced. New classes are being developed and will be offered on weeknights and Thursday mornings. Classes

Level 2 Nosework: This course teaches the dogs to find the first odor -- birch. Searches are conducted both indoors and outdoors, and this course continues to expand boxwork skills. Vehicle searches are introduced at this level.
Level 3 Nosework: This course enhances the skills learned in the previous courses and includes more complex searches and distractions. The odors of Anise and Cloves are introduced when the dog is ready.

Beginning Tracking Seminar: This workshop provides an overview of tracking and includes a hands-on workshop where you and your dog will get to practice what you have learned. Please note: You must have participated in a Beginning Tracking Seminar prior to enrolling in a Tracking Class.
Beginning Tracking Classes: This course focuses on building skills and confidence for the beginning tracking student. Classes are held weekly. The handler must bring the following items to each class: non-restrictive harness and a 6' lead. Please Note: You must have completed the Beginning Tracking Seminar prior to enrolling in the Beginning Tracking Course.
Advanced Beginning Classes: This course focuses on preparing the dog and handler team for competition. The course will focus on preparations for the Tracking Dog (TD) test.
TDX Classes: This course focuses on preparing dogs for the Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) test, and includes training on a variety of obstacles and terrain.
VST Classes: This course focuses on preparing dogs for the Variable Surface Tracking (VST) test, and includes training on a variety of articles and terrain.
Private Tracking Lesson: Paws Plus Training offers private lessons to assist the dog/handler team with skill development and test preparation.
